Erection of a one off bespoke designed house near Kemnay, Aberdeenshire.
The brief was to provide our clients with a new family home, to consist of 2 bedrooms with an additional master suite and guest bedroom / playroom, a large open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area, double garage, utility, shower room and Bathroom, with a basement which would be utilised as a home theatre.
The house sits on a hillside overlooking the Grampian mountains and to take advantage of the views we placed all the living accommodation on the first floor and designed the open plan spaces with a stepped hierarchy to make sure each space could benefit from the glazed gable views.
The house plan is a linear 2 storey building with a garage wing with family room and balcony above, and a front entrance porch and stairwell in a shoot through roof wing.
The property is due for completion April 2012
